I am junior accountant who want to shift for PR job, and I wanted to know the suited steps, I should do to do this shift
firstly, i support you. secondly, try shifting inside your current organization. that is easier than shifting outside.
If you are changing your career, you must first understand what skills are required for PR, you might want to take some courses offline and online to first gain some knowledge about how the job is done, next keep a look out for intern positions, whist the pay might not be that great but since you are doing a career shift, you need the experience more than anything and that is where intern positions come in handy, some companies can even offer you a permanent position with good benefits if they feel that you are growing at a good level and have the right attitude for the job.
