There is lot of documents are involve in an project construction site, but mostly two type of documents (Quality and Engg. deliverables) are used.
Quality documents are consist of (QIP's, Method Statements, Request for Inspection & Testing, Tech. Query Sheets, Quality Alerts, CAR & PAR, WPS, MTC's, NCR's, Test Packs, Punch Lists etc.).
Engg. Deliverables consist of (Foundation & Detail Drawings, Plan, Elevation & Section Dwg., P&ID's, GA Drawings, Piping Isometric Drawings, Red Markups etc.).
And also Transmittals.

The most common documents can be received on an construction site are drawings.
Letters, RFI, Technical Queries/Interim Payments/Variation are the most common. But in the part of 80% of the project, submission such Field Change Report which need to be commented by Consultant as well, As Built Drawings.
