Thanks

Basically in most kind of negotiations there are rules unless one of parties is negotiate for the survive only, so each parties have to abide by mentioned rules or all negotiation should be started again from the zero point

I'm a fan of fair negotiations by default. But if the other party goes dirty - I always have a couple of tricks in hand to show that I can play those games too. After I do so - the opponents usually prefer to withdraw and get back to a respectful way.

The idea is to show that you're no fool here and they won't get the things easy. But if they don't stop manipulative attempts - I obviously quit.

I think, a better negotiation can change the deal but if still its not becoming something productive then will find any alternative solution to close the deal until it cancels

The worst case scenario & ultimate decision would be to backout & cancel the negotiation, but before this; explain your position to them regarding fair negotiations & a win-win win situation that you are willing to achieve and give them a second chance to sort out themselves, if they fail & show no interest in achieving a common goal of "fair or wim-win" situation, then you can backout or cancel the negotiations. Thanks for the invitation
