If the sales person has only one criteria which is to love being a salesperson then he/she could be a good salesperson.
To love being a salesperson will put the focus on the customer and how to identify and satisfy his/her needs to close the sale.
To love being a salesperson will give you enough flexibility to believe that "you can't choose the customer mood but you can choose your attitude" .
All other rhetorical criteria such as initiative, enthusiastic, energetic, persistent, ambitious ...etc has no meaning if you don't love being a salesperson.
