A recognized trainer is always a good person to begin with - however, he/ she must be qualified to conduct the said course as it is more important than him/ her being a celebrity! :-)
I would prefer a trainer who can identify their needs, handle it effectively helping them to learn and develop. If the famous trainer can do that I will go for him, if not I will go for anyone who can do that.
Being famous is something else. being intellectual while writing effective books id another matter. I would encourage such trainer by the way.
Thanks for invitation,
Totally agree with Mr. Ali Ahmed, it is much better to have a qualified trainer who can effectively and efficiently achieving your required targets than the famous one.
Zian, i don't think s that one must qualify for the parameters which you have mentioned but yes, a trainer must be:
Technically sound
must have good sense of humor so to build harmony
have good Emotional Intelleginence
Understand the business operations to connect with trainees.
Famous or not doesn't really make a difference to me. Although with famous trainers you might go in with the hyped expectations and you may come out not really being impressed by their delivery or grasp of the sessions content.
To me personally its how the Trainer is able to use the subject matter, training content and the art of delivery and the engaging nature of the trainer which subconsciously keeps participants interested and engaged - better results overall for everyone.
I would prefer someone who can meet my training needs. Our goal needs to be to identify a trainer who is capable of designing and delivering training that can be evaluated. Evaluation starts from the time of the training ends till a few months later for behavioral changes.
Hello,
For me, i don't care about this factor as a critical success factor for my investment in training, but it can be considered sometime, if the situation required, type of complexity of the program, the audience themselves specially when they are senior managers and above, you need someone accredited so as to deal with their ego and convince them, otherwise i would go for the one who wold add value and have something real to measure the performance and return of investment on this training representing in performance measurement before and after.
No. I expect the person who is training my staff to be a part of my staff. I would like my staff to share ideas with one another. They are all good at something. If they want me to share what I know, then I will. However, I am more than happy to allow them share their talents with each other.
I prefer the trainer who has experience in his subject and also know how to cover employees needs..according to your question i prefer the one who is famous..thank you for your invitation
