Should ones teaching career be centralized in his or her origin?

One of the basic of good teaching is teaching the child from known to unknown and for that matter the need to make teachers know and understand the native language and culture of the person he or she teaches.

While that is essentially true,it will be naive for one to remain rooted in one's area when your expertise is in high demand elsewhere.It is for this reason that we (me included)find ourselves in foreign lands and finding a common starting point with the learners and then moving forward.lt hasn't been easy but new ground has been opened up and those are the thrilling areas in this teaching profession of ours.My fair attempt to answer you my brother.
