"you're over qualified, the best for the job" what's the first thing that cross your mind when you hear that phrase?

this Q is just for fun to find out if it's a good thing or bad to hear it in an interview and if there is another statement can be said to ease the rejection, an update :)

That's a good question.

First of all, you have to know that once you hear that phrase that you are not applicable.

 

Secondly, to avoid that situation you have deal with the interviewer as per the job requirements NOT as per your current or previous job title.

 

Finally, Be sure that most of interviewers in Arab world are not qualified enough and well trained, so be careful.
