structural engineer is more responsible for the skeleton of the structure. All aspects of what goes into making that piece a solid, well supported structure weighs heavily on the skills and calculations of the engineer. It’s extremely important for the structural engineer to deliver a final product that not only ensures that the project will be effective in the long run, but that can also be considered safe for the general public

All in all, though structural engineers and architects both work towards making the final product live up to all expectations, each has their own area of focus. At the end of the day however, whether the structure stand the test of time relies heavily on the work of the structural engineer.

True better Archy's are best more dreamers. But bare in mind that part of archetict training is structural analysis, and more other structural design classes. Therefore the will make educated dream, or say thier dreams should be with in the pylhysical laws of structure. Archetict can design a table with no legs but must come up with a solution for a usable table. (Erict it on one leg, or hang it from the ceiling. Unleash your dreams but let them abide by phisics logic.

Dialogue is what is always productive. I usually quote this example, if architecture is a body then structural engineering is its soul. You put your alternate proposals in case the structure cannot be realistic and consider architects orientation towards this.

You try as much as you can to realize the architect and then suggest solutions to solve the problems till devlop the architect to becomes realize.

Architects have some background knowledge on Structural Engineering, while in college these subjects are taken during the first half of the course. But I must admit, Architects do tend to exaggerate things pushing the limits for the sake of aesthetics, that is where the Structural Engineer comes in to the picture. But a good Structural Engineer makes all possible solutions to keep Architectural Design rather than changing it for his convenience.
