3) "Essentialism", Greg McKeown
4) "The Grand Chessboard", Zbigniew Brzezinski
Capacity Planning: Daniel Menasce & Virgillo Almeida
It opened my eyes on the importance of capacity and contingency planning in order for a business to become successful and maintain it's success. This book does not teach you that 1 + 1 = 2, it teaches you that 1 + 1 can result in 1.5, 2. 2.5, 3 and so forth. Probably one of the few educational books that gave me the opportunity to innovatively think from an academic perspective.
Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus: John Gray
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is an absolute cracker! An eye opener on how females think intellectually and emotionally. This book actually improved my interactions with the feminine side where as a male I became more considerate and appreciative of the thought processes of females
Leadership: Ted Hughes
This book introduced me to leadership and management. This book discussed the 5 traits of the OCEAN model of personality and how to approach the managing process of such personality traits. It discussed power in a leader and influence tactics. Recommend it even if you're not an academician
Also, 'Emotional Intelligence' by Daniel Goleman is a good introduction to emotional intelligence as well
