Best decisions are best choices for best outcime within the organisations. it is positive feedback that lays structure for a company to working well with its partners and staff.
A decision is defined as a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration. It is the action or process of deciding something or of resolving a question. A choice made between alternative courses of action in a situation of uncertainty. It is the ability or tendency to make decisions quickly; decisiveness.
I know when a best decision is taken and it is because the internal and external factors blend well for better business and floor management. Experience counts in making decisions work. The plan is working well for the company. When best decisions are taken it brings employees and employers accountable for their action. It paves the way for positive attitude in the company and diversity and equality is maintained with respect. Discrimination remains at its’ lowest as each one knows the outcome of interfering or creating chaos or situation that hamper the productivity of an organisation. Relationships are maintained with respect which makes for better culture mixes.
it's easy to become paralyzed, when faced to make tough decisions in the face of such challenges as late staff on shifts, smoking in areas where no zone is applied, not carrying out work on time and seen on catering premises, giving a bonus to some and leaving the others out or taking a decision to sack a staff who has been drinking on duty or taking drugs before joining the team, refusing to delegate.
Yet as a leader, you have to make a decision and move forward. Your judgment becomes critical. It is being sure for a change in management policy for staff to be disciplined at work. It may effect all staff because it takes only a few rotten apples to spoil the full cart. In this way, the best decisions are implemented and followed through knowing it is in the best interest of the organisation and the staff on the whole. When staff are allowed to help in decison making it helps the management gain a better insight into many problem areas. hence helping employees bridge the gap and move forward in a company.
Try to have possible knowledge of the situation and gather all information required. Before reaching the conclusion take the all stake holders on board.
if its projecting to long term benifits to the organization
Thanks
When I get right results and outputs!
