Two ways:
1.Enjoying all the positives every culture has to offer. Positives range from-Sharing unique dishes at lunch to discussions on important landmarks, tourist sites and festivals, for each culture.
2.Completely ignoring the fact that various cultures exist and treating every employee as one who is designated to carry out a particular task, which he/she is getting paid for.
My opinion-first one is the best way to do it and the second one is a pretty professional and a very robotic way to do it.
I believe that the key and main factor for an eminent multi-cultural work environment is respect. In each and every sense of it. Working within or outside our home country, people have each individuality. Without respect, nobody can achieve a smooth sail in any aspect of life.
The most important factor here is to develop our listening skills and try to be empathetic towards others. People have different opinions, thoughts and solutions to the same problem considering their background, culture and upbringing. Try to analyse that and sooner or later issues will be solved.
Willingness to understand and respect others.
Working in a multi-cultural environment is by far the most memorable and rich experience that you would ever have. Embrace diversity!
By respecting and understanding culture cross cutting.
Respecting Other people's opinion and thoughts, not interfering in personal choices of the individuals.
patience, acceptance and respect.
