In my point of view, to be a good trainer, you must have a good connection with the audience or with trainees. Well for me, adding up some good sense of humor or a jokes would make your audience/trainee lively and would not making them feel boring. Not only a good jokes would make a training more lively but you can also add up some real-life scenarios / examples and do some activities and let everyone be part of it.
