When should we quit our jobs and start our own business?

We are supposed to set & own up our individual vision, mission, goals, objectives or targets for our career paths & future, this is strategic planning. The above mentioned factors play a fundamental role in answering the above question for instance: Vision-where do you see yourself in the future? (entrepreneur, employee, business owner, retrenchment etc). Mission-what drives you. Goals-what do you wish to accomplish & when? Objectives & targets-what you are to achieve & when? Once you have written down these fundamentals, they will guide you to answering this question when the right time approaches for you to make a decision regarding your future prospects. Therefore, the answers to these fundamental questions will determine & shape your future for instance if your target is to work as an employee  for years & retire, when that time comes, you will retire & set up your own business after you have achieved (mission, objective, goal) whatever you had expected.
