What will your answer be if you have been asked in any job interview about the salary expected? By scale or directly saying the value

If i am unemployed fresh graduate i'd basically accept any salary as long as it matches the average of my degree holder in the market, maybe a lower salary if i am desperate. 

If i am experienced, I'd ask for at least 30% above my main salary before any additional allowances. 

It also depends on whether i am being recruited and contacted or if i am applying for that position with other competitors.
