Is Lean Six Sigma Certification a must for Senior Sales and Marketing Management Professional?

Just like in martial arts there are differing skill levels going from entry level (white belt) but to expert (black belt) and all points in between. Six Sigma is a scientific methodology that allows us to make decisions based on facts. I would say that not eveybody in an organisation needs to be a black belt, however, people need to be at least aware of the power of six sigma techniques. As such I would say that all employees should be at least trained to yellow belt, with fewer trained to green belt, fewer to black belt and even fewer to master black belt. Senior Management should be minimum yellow belt but (preferably) green belt in order for the organisation to fully take advantage of the power of Lean Six Sigma.
