Thanks for invitation,
Agree with the couleagues' answers, and I do prefer to join a regular study through a certified university for PMP,
First I want to thank Mahmoud Fawzy for the invitation to share my opinion.
A project is an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned and designed to achieve a particular aim. This aim is not just construction or deals with engineering all the time. Projects take place daily all around the globe and some are relatively simple and some extremely complex, but never the less they all are projects.
Now you ask for short project management courses that give some type of certificate and not a full degree from a University. There are several online courses that are really good and with decent cost someone can take and receive a certificate. In my experience project management is not part of any engineering curriculum unless it is a specialized post graduate program. So in your position I would do a little search online and apply at any decent project management program that lasts a few weeks and get a certificate. The best way to learn how to manage projects is to work on projects often, so try do that as well.
You may Ask about PMP intensive course, I guess they have intensive programs in short time. But you need to have knowledge at least basic about Project management in first place.
You may start with an introductory course, such as Foundations of Project Management or Introduction to Project Management. This is necessary, as it gives you an overview of the subject of Project Management before you proceed any further. Next, you could take Project Planning and Scheduling; Project Costing and Estimating; and, Project Quality Management (these three courses comprise the "Triple Constraint" of Project Management: Time, Cost, and Quality). Following this, you could take courses such as Project Procurement/Logistics Management; Project Leadership and Teamwork; Project Risk Management; and, Project Stakeholder Management. There are several other courses you could take to strengthen your knowledge of Project Management (such as E-Tools for Project Management), but the courses listed above could be considered as essential core courses.
There is professional program in AUC that Called ( PRMG ) this is very good for you

MS Project Management (self study)
Thanks for asking.
There are various courses available on Project Management. My recommendation would depends on where you stand at this point in your career and what you would like to achieve. CAPM certification from Project Management is the ideal one for entry level professionals who would like to pursue the career in Project Management. Senior professionals can pursue PMP certification course from PMI.
There are few courses in distance learning mode as well. You may like to consider Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from MIT School of Distance Education. Similar course from XLRI as well.
In my opinion knowledge of Project Management is applicable everywhere, its a life skill.
Every moment is learning moment! All the best
