We don't cheat our customers. if you solve it by selling at once but it may me the bad message for the product in the future so; it's better to destroy.
Agreed with "Mr. Farrukh" it is common here in Canada. All big chains do it, they have outlets where you can by a little damaged goods on lower price, having vast range from clothes to Kitchen appliances, even Electronics
ساجيب على السؤال من وجهه نظرى ولكن سامحنى فانا لست مختصا
من وجهه نظرى اذا تضررت البضاعه فيجب ان ترد الى المصنع لاعادها انتاجها من جديد لو امكن ذلك
وان لم يمكن فيجب اعدامها او التخلص منها حفاظا على سمعه الشركه والخوف من هروب المستهلك فى المستقبل

Always get rid of what you don't accept for yourself.
Depends on the nature of the goods. If they are perishable goods due to Customs n Tax matters they are destroyed in front or by such authorities. But as far as other goods are considered they end up being sold at a lower price(Thts what happens here in PAKISTAN)
it can be separated from the original product first
and then you can sell or destroy up to the customers needs
