For me the toughest question that I was asked in one of my interviews was not related to HR.....it was related to company's growth and analysis of its competition. When you go for an interviwe you should not just prepare answers related to your field but you should be able to answer questions regarding the overall company, its business and competion. In present time HR plays a very important role in any company and they can only play that role if they know the company in and out.
