Both overdraft and cash credit are really forms of borrowing. The institution allows you to withdraw funds that you do not have a demand claim to, usually in small amounts. The primary differences between these two forms of borrowing is how they are secured and whether the money is lent out of a separate account

Cash Credit is  working capital loan to  firm/ company   where the prime securities are stock and book debts. Drawing power in cash credit loans are decided as per their stock & book debt staments  and their margin

Overdraft is loan provided against prime securities of some financial instruments  and  can be  used for  any purpose by the borrower
