In order to start an 'selenium automation testing' script- you will first need to identify what needs to be tested. What is the module you wish to test? What are your test objectives? You will need to build a framework, JUnit is one framework which I am familiar with.

After identifying the scenarios you wish to cover during testing, you may begin writing your test script in selenium accordingly.  Make sure to import all the correct jar files into your existing library. Always remember to write re-usable codes, and make full use of the object-oriented capabilities of java. For example, you may create a separate 'login' class, and import that in your existing script, and that way every time you createa  new script, you don't need to re-type your login-test coding. This saves time, and also keeps your framework 'tidy' and organized.

firstly we have to do smoke test for realted sprint or project as its manadatorythen at some stage defect raises then we have to report it to deveolopers as that defect is taken as bug by developer as that time taken by the devoloper to fix that bug

we can start automatiom by downloading requried jars and write according to our requried project for further execution in less time
