I would sum it all to one word;VISION.Asa leader you are the vision of the the organization and once the vision is lost,you cease being a leader.Remember Christopher Columbus?He never lost the vision of the mainland during his voyage with his sailing crew.The result was the discovery of sea route to India sailing around the continent of Africa!
