If there Is no ability to know the interviewer and you have a link inside the company , You should ask the link who is going Interview you and his history ?

If you wanna get a job for sure try to do all the best depending on you.
Employer likes when you know about the company and your desire to work, your working ambitious is maximus match with companyes requirement and targets.
You have know the second chance to make first impression.
Even better if you have some method to know more about person who will interwer you or companies culture to be suitable.
Be psyhologist - it will increase you chances.

Yes, knowing interviewer is a good idea at least you will have a bit of idea that who is going to take interview and what level he posses in the company however I strongly believe that candidates should also know about the Company (business of company, headcount details, scope/vision of the company) it will be more helpful ……

Before going in for an interview, one should always do as much research as possible about the company.
My first question to each and every candidate is "What do you know about the company" and the second question is always "What do you know about this position".
If a candidate does not know what the company's line of business is or what the job responsibilities are, to me it proves that they have not taken it seriously.

For me knowing that person is like cheating.
You will then be biased about your answers like what an interviewer likes or not.
I take this meeting as a product showcase.
Where i am the product which an interviewer is considering to buy.
I should focus to share my features, benefits, clientele (exp), and try to sell myself and my real abilities.
And while sharing these things I should remain honest to myself and to the interviewer.
Think about a situation where you are an interviewer and someone cheats you because he/she knows what you like and what you don't.
Even if the candidate is selected, you will find someday how the person cheated you because what he/she actually is can't be changed.
And at that time you will not LIKE him/her and feel INSULTED.
So in my opinion, which may be wrong, be honest to your interviewer and be honest to yourself.
Though knowing a business and company do helps to understand how will you make an impact considering that particular market.

Researching about the company is always a plus, employers would love to see that you actually did your homework and prepared for the interview ; it gives a positive impression that you are competent and capable.

yes definitely.
if you have lack of knowledge about the company then why should he/ she will recruit you.
you just imagine how you will recruit some body for you company who does not have a basic information about your company knowing that he is going to give the interview for a post in your company.
It will always be a plus point if the person collects the data about the company and have the basic knowledge about the company.

If you are given the chance to know who will interview you, it would be a great advantage.
You can try searching his/her name in sites like bayt, linkedin, facebook or twitter.
In that way you will have an idea of his/her interests, school where he/she studied and in what major/field,etc.
- some of the things you need to learn in order to establish rapport during the interview.
But if you do not know who will interview, which is most likely the case, just have a background about the company, its vision, mission, goals, current achievements and how you can align yourself and your experience to the company
