What's is the relation between NPSH and Power consumed?

The above graph gives you an idea how the power required is related to the NPSH required. Each pump would have its own Characteristic curve.

Generally the Power required will increase with NPSH required but that is not a hard and fast rule. NPSH required depends on the liquid boiling point and may change with liquid and you might not see an increase in power requirement.
