An ECE grad, in what fields should I look for opportunities.Home automation, PLC and SKADA and embedded systems, which is good for me as fresher?

For me the embedded intelligence and the smart nano systems means the whole future and doesn't need huge installation effort compared to the industrial automated systems , also regarding your own capabilities

Automation is a field where electrical and programming aspects combine together to form a new field of expertise. Its the future. For a fresh graduate such as yourself, PLC and embedded ystems would be an ideal field. Its the core of the industrial type of automation, and the absolute base. Most home automation solutions are all based upon this technology but with a simpler approach and thereby the scope tends to be limited.
