What prevents diplomats from committing criminal offences on a regular basis only to invoke diplomatic immunity when charged with a criminal offence?

In the event the Diplomat is involved in any Criminal Offence in the host country which is unconnected with his offical position, he may be declared as Persona non granta by the host country and either prosecuted therein or expelled to the sending country to deported as a wanted criminal in the country of offence.
