Many companies are afraid to risk hiring someone with no experience. Some of the questions that they may ask you are; "what have you been doing since you graduated"?
Ask yourself the following questions before applying for a job or going in for an interview:
a. What have I done to develop myself between the time I graduated and today?
b. Have you traveled anywhere? (a lot of graduates like to travel and see the world before starting their career)
c. Why do you think after 5 years you still have the skills needed to do the job? (technology changes quickly and if you are not up on the latest trends, programs, software, etc...they most likely will be unwilling to take a chance on you.
Finally, you have to have passion for your line of work and for the job you are applying for. This will shine through in the interview if you truly want the job and can see yourself excelling in it.
Good Luck!
Hi Nourah,
I advise you to stay away from the answers which remind your interviewer of your lack of experience. Instead, try to use your experiences in life which show you are responsible, reliable and fast learner, i.e. your school activities, sports, volunteer works, if any, university projects, ... all are great examples to mention.
