1- CV and cover letter writing
2- Knowing where to search for jobs
3- Selling yourself at interviews
4- Negotiating job offers
5- Other (please specify)
Thanks
In my opinion, it is 2: Selling yourself at interview, since may be you have a high skills and qualities but you can not put these skills and qualities on the table
Knowing where to search for jobs
Getting a call for interview without any strong references
The most important aspect of job hunting would be to 'Find the Right Job'.
Option 5
Differnciate between real and fake job advertisement. In my opinion most of the advertisements are for the positions already filled or doesn't exist.
3- Selling yourself at interviews,
Nowadays most companies look for experienced employers more than training and building pioneers. Therefore an employee with enormous potential might have a so average called CV or lack of knowledge of where to search for jobs due to the field of research not being his/her certain specialty, hence the only real oppurtunity the employee actually has is to prove him/herself at an interview.
Thank you
I think all these aspects are important and complementry, number one and two lead to number three that is the most important point.
selling yourself at interviews, how to pose yourself and give your interviewer the best impression that is coinciding of you and your qualifications with the job requirements.
In my point of view,
It is knowing where to search for jobs. Yes, the internet and the social media is an easy access tool to hunt for jobs may it be full or part-time but the con is that it offers a wide variety of jobs that can sometimes be challenging in finding the right job for you.
to me its purely knowing where to search for a job as the jobs being published in jobsites are most of the times already filled from back gates.
