Working alone/individually is not bad thing but not as productive as it should be while working with an organization. The catch here is you would not be having many negative aspects of the situation and unless you have both aspects you are less likely to reach better conclusion. So, start interacting with the team members keeping the designations in mind.
Try to lead a project or any activity in your company. By that you will learn more about being an effective team player.
