What are the core skills in providing great customer service?

To provide the best customer service experience to customers -  a person should have  great communication skills, listening skills, problem solving skills, multitasking skills and able to empathize with the customer.

A great customer service provider is also knowledgeable about their product and he is professional in resolving customer's query or issue.
