PPC (Pay Per Click) and Search engine optimization are two methods of advertisement. PPC enables you to add/display your ads with sponsored/paid tools like Google Adwords or Facebook Campaign. On the other side SEO is the process of making changes to the design, content and link structure to improve a website’s ranking and therefore visibility in search engine optimization is unpaid/organic results which helps your site ranking.

 

The question is, which approach is better? It all depends on your end goal and budget. If you want more traffic fast and are willing to pay for it, then PPC is the way to go. But if you do not have budget allocated for online advertisement, then invest sometime to build traffic for free by achieving high rankings in the natural SEO.

In simple language I will state it, PPC Advertising is a paid service and SEO is a free. Now it's a fundamental fact that free services have a limit which cannot be over reached after certain extent. Also SEO is the organic listing which is carried by every website owner or blog owner. PPC advertising list you directly at the front and increases your visibility where as SEO have lower chances of increasing your visibility within lakhs of result pages.
