The conflict shall be first identified then classified, if personal, then look in impacts on business and team environment, based on that it shall be treated. Otherwise, the conflict arises from work background and favor, then the manager shall ask both employees to jot down swot of his approach. Based on that a meeting conducted to negotiate difference between both resolutions and team agree on the most effective approach.

While sometimes, issue is urgent and the manager shall decide immediately after checking the better approach and later solve the conflict,

Conflict is an integral part of a manager as a conflict can easily hamper production and efficiency of a team let alone balance of the work environment, in such situations what has worked for me is to get a small performance review and accordingly provide feedback and then have a meeting of the employees in question and try to analyse of the conflict is personal or professional and if personal they should resolve it under a controlled environment and within moral boundaries as personal life should never hamper professional life, professional reason cane be analysed by data and though it’s tough we have to take some time out for the employees and settle this as an organisation also has responsibilities against its operatives

First of all listen the point and perception of both the employees. Then find out the most feasible and beneficial solution for that particular project, organization or the source of conflict. Then as per your experience and expertise give your verdict . But don’t hurt engine feelings and don’t make anyone feel bad. If you have accepted any one employee solution than you should say the other employee that “we can incorporate your idea in any other project”, or “your proposal is also good we appreciate your efforts but for this project it might not work”. Remember, always appreciate the efforts or employees.

Welcome the separation of ways of communication between the parties as a first step and then know the cause of both of them separately and then face to face together to increase the accuracy of the investigation and then take the necessary measures to resolve the conflict from reconciliation to expulsion to each party taking into account the surrounding circumstances and variables affecting the conflict from the past to the future

The manager should first identify the real issue and offer solutions. The main point here is to encourage them to work their differences out and put the needs of the organisation first. If this fails, he should try to reorganise their duties and as a last option he should use his power to draft a warning letter to avoid further problems that might pull the team backwards.

The manager should identify first, what kind of conflict they have. if it is personal or work related. then start to settle the problem after identifying the issue.
