Accordingly to my Point of view, If person has20yr Experience there is not need for Certification, Because in Logistics Field Practical Practice is more important then just reading.

A Person who has20yr of Experience, very much used to, to tackle challenges and make wise decision accordingly as per their experience, which will help to save time and cost. Else A person who has degree but don't have experiance or have little experiance can be creat problem in saving time and cost. and Manage Logistics is a game of Time and Cost.

But still in big organization there is rule of minimum qualification that can create hurdle for getting job in such organization.

"Then is depend on organization, will they take advantage of20yr Experience or give Experience to New comers"

No degree can replace hard earned wisdom earned through years of experience. Someone who has been in the industry for20 years will definitely bring a lot of valuable inputs to the table that many with a degree may not. In fact, such candidates should definitley be given preference.

It is not always essential to have a degree to know what the requirements are. If a person has been working in the Warehouse for20 years it is assumed they have progressed up the ladder. I would be more apt to listen to experiance than schooling.

In fact a lot of specialists in this field don't hold a degree in it, especially in country like Egypt the word "logistics" is a new concept for it.

Me myself don't hold a degree on Logistics or Supply chain, but I'm trying to replace that by an international certificate like CSCP, CISP or MBA

this certificate will high my Opportunities in finding new jobs

I would employ that person because real experience is more important than a degree.  Universities do not teach you, they just put you on the first step.  Life teaches you more.
