"Social Media engagement" is a term often used to describe the approach businesses now adopt to increase their reach over the different Social Media networks by directly engaging the customer, a two way communication which enables the business to build relationships over the internet, enhancing the company image by showing the company as a person.
Social media engagement is different than the traditional way of marketing because you cant advertise your self and expect people to have loyalty or even like your Facebook page, you have to get your customers in the process, by engaging them with activities, promotions, events, competitions and most importantly, starting a conversation with your customers to ensure high customer care.
