Management is integrated in almost everything of our daily life. It is how how you organize yourself to do something in the least and best ressources possible to obtain the best result possible. Now that being said the first step would be thinking about the matter before doing it to be able to come up with a plan. For example approaching someone to tell him bad news bluntly might have some negative consequences however if you calculate thoroughly what to say and how to act when approaching that person first having thought about it you'll be able to visualize the effect control them and even prevent them. Or for example when you want a promotion, you can go barging in and ask a promotion from your boss or you can wait to complete a project successfully and come to your boss suggesting how you would be of better use to this company in the higher position after subtly reminding him of your achievements for this company and how you are an asset here.
