Most common in relation to the standard code of ethics revolve around psychological implications mainly influenced by rules of personal space.

For instance the distance between coleagues, business associates and potential clients may influence or inform behaviour, posture and general confidence which inturn have a profound impact on major decisions where cold conversing is involved.

Examples include, "the handshakes" and yes I've said 'the' because there're different types. As much as a firm handshake inspires confidence and reassurance, the pressure, direction or position of the handshake has a greater influence on the end game. You don't want to either intimidate or make someone feel like they got the short end of the stick.

Facial expressions are also very important, if you appear too serious it imprints on the mind of the recipient a negative, guarded engagement may be iminent where's a smile(raised eyebrows) automatically inject a jab of dorpamine into the whole experience making it easier to make headway.

Sitting posture, no slouching, shoulders at right angles and staring directly at a client inspires the confidence that your authority on the conversation stems from the fact that you know what you're doing.

Let your words and most of your conversations be punctuated with guestures from time to time, at some point a soft touch here and there are chief to curving a permanent, impression on anyone.

Over and above the simple examples above are the common ones and mostly applicable where 1st impressions are concerned,if you can master these then the rest can be built upon as you become more and more experienced in your field of choice.
