Every profession needs commitment, self-motivation and positive attitude.

One of the things you learn from taking the Human Resources course, is the ability to "read" people. You can apply that to selling.

I am a people person so obviously opt out for Human Resources over Sales.

Both are important in it's own context. It all depends on your individual strenths and personality.

The similarities for both functions are striking - both sales and HR roles need an extrovert, someone who enjoys meeting people, connects quickly, has a positive personality.

From a company's perspective, both are very important. On a risk level, sales guys get exposed very quickly, and the numbers tell their own story. In HR, one could carry on and not get exposed for a logn time especially if one is a junior-middle one, with strong relationships with key people. If you have a stomach for risk taking, high rewards backed by higher uncertainities, then sales is good as a career. If you dont wish to take risk of getting exposed, then HR is a safer role.

Both are important but I prefer HR as a career choice,   Because human resources are part of the administration

Each field is important and the choice depends on the individual's qualifications and experience.

Human resources are important in hiring and selecting the best candidates The sales manager is hired by human resources. The sales manager also has an important role in sale the company's products and bringing in the cash flows that help the company to survive and pay the salaries of employees.
