THanks for invitation,
I do believe that, any good decison maker has to review, discuss and get detailed feedback from his assistants / sub-coordinators for any day-to-day business' problems, before a final decision is taken by himself.
1. Assistants interaction with day to day problems makes easier to implement the most corrective methods with their involvement which eventually eases in making decision-making.
2. When associates are involved in decision-making, their motivation rises and they feel they are valued to there organization and hence, are productive to an organization.
3. When a manager is responsible for decision making then he is only responsible for its failure and tries whatever he can do to correct it, which also applies to everyone. When associates are involved in decision-making the probability of failure graph went down and chances of good results are high, and in case if it went wrong then whole team members devote themselves to correct it which also strengthen the bond between manager and associates.
4. Associates have different exercise to perform in an organization so their involvement shares the core problems and there most effective & efficient solutions.
5. Associates who are new in decision-making process could learn and understand the crucial & critical points which is beneficial to the future growth of an organization.
Thanks
In my opinion all decisions are important to take your assistants points of view.
When it is related to something important and the responsible director is consulting his aides
There are many opinion/benefits of involving assistants in decision making of a company because of the following benefits
1)The associate/ assistants feel they are a valued part of the team-they will feel that people in ownership positions value them as a significant contributor to the teams success and that usually raise their level of efforts and commitment to ensure the company's success
2)The assistants will focus more of their energy on future- oriented problem solving rather than blaming their current problems on management
3)Morale and motivation is higher-in organisations where associates/assistants are involved in decision making they know they make a difference to the company success and they find it easier to be motivated and satisfied with their jobs.
4)It frees up a manager's time to contribute to the department's success in other area-when assistants are involved in decision making that impact their work, it frees up the manager to work on more future-oriented issues that will ultimately make the department even more successful; a manager for instant will now have time to look at how the company customers are changing their demands and level of expectation with this new knowledge the manager can lead a discussion on what changes will have to occur in the next decade to meet the changing customer demands, change procedures and refining process.
