Do you think the members of a group should place their personal motivations before the interest of the group or vice versa?

If the interest of the group has already been there then the group shouldn't place their personal motivations because this may not be much useful/advantageous and all the members of the group have already discussed before and then only they come to the final point of 'Interest of the group' rather than 'personal motivations'.

It's a little bit tricky sir to answer this question as humans tend to put their personal priorities first before anything else but HERE in a particular team environment , total results can only be obtained IF EVERYONE PRESENT IS A TEAM PLAYER AND PERSONAL THINGS SHOULD be kept aside as a perfect peofessional intellect would do. PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SHOULD BE STRICTLY SEGREGATED.

as it is concern to the personal motivation, then to me it is a great thing. this is because no one else can motivate you. if you are not already prepared for the motivation. so the personal motivation is the best key.

if this personal motivation is delivered to other group members and make them to work hard then it will help the group to achieve its objectives.

Make you mind first then do it. this is personal motivation. it will not work if ur mind is ready to accept motivation.

As a group's member, the priority has to be for the group interests in order to achieve the group objectives, which are leading and reflecting in achieving his own personal motivation.

Everyone seems to think that the spirit of the group precedes personal motives; and goes to give it priority in preference; but in my view the correct one is:

If you find the self-motivation of each element in the team, it meets at the end and gives the team a distinctive appearance.

In my opinion its good to place interest of group at heart before personal motivation. This is because sometimes thinking with other people in mind is valuable for you will tend to think big and comfort all the people involved in group rather than being motivated by personal intereste as they may tend to differ abit with what other members perceive and can sometimes be seen as being selfish and egocentric
