Few things I often do with my team and of what I learned during leadership training. First is to give them a pleasant working place, I offer them opportunities for self development like enrolling them on training and courses that could boost more of their skills. I also do daily tool box talk so we can tackle things that are work related that needs to be corrected. With this i allow them to put their suggestions and concerns for us to come up in a decision that would best suit for the team and the company. I share with them things I have encountered for them to learn and most of all, all are treated fairly especially if staff are of different races

Divide the desired goal on all team members evenly with the standardization of the time period equally

 

In the middle of the team road to achieve the goal you must put a reward (or something motivational) for all team members

 

The person who achieves the desirable results in a shorter period wins the big prize

 

The results of the team are divided as percentages based on what was achieved by each individual
