Why balanced cantilever bridge preferred compared to deck girder bridge?

The Balance cantilever system allow to have more activities, for example, the bridge construction with the road activities below the bridge. In addition, the balance cantilever system can be used in the rough nature conditions, such as crossibg over river or creek, or crossing over wadi. Moreover, the operational cost for balance cantilever system is much less than classic deck girder box construction

Selection of type of bridge for the particular terrain is quite difficult as budget, time , ease of constructions are the main governing factor.

For a longer span deck girder bridge section will become unrealistic and more over approach to foundation may difficult thats why BC bridge are more preferred.

Even if the situation is worst for BC bridge in those cases cable stayed,Arched or suspensions type bridge may the solution.
