How long should an employee stay in a job?

As long as the employee enjoys doing what he or she is doing.

from 3 to 5 year's not longer than that

Staying in the job depends on productivity and quality at work

When you start as a fresher Usually at 23 - 24 years of age,stick with that company for 3 years, after that the second job should be 5 years to 7 seven years , 3rd job should also be 5 - 7 years, your fourth job should be 10 -15 years and you retire at a Senior Management level, GM, Director or CEO 

As long as you feel that your job is challenging and there is something new to learn everyday and also you see clear path of career growth you should stick to the same job no matter how long.

as long as he is not learning anything new for more than one year i think it is the time to change

Employee should stay in company when he feels that he is getting new challenges and his skills are improving pluse organization giving respect to him.

According to the time period specified in the employment contract

As long as employee find the job challenging and prospect for growth, learning and self development.

what ever was your Job or your title the end comes when you feel that you dont have more to give when you feel that you already done all your best and you just repeat your actions then its time to finde new place wher you can share your experince and use your ideas to grow up this place
