In my point of view respect is not depends upon age or any position. Respecting manner will make more attraction in between to them, and it initiate to team co-ordination. While caring at the time of employee need will make him more interest on his work. and its motivate to work sincere to the management at all the time.

For many reasons:

1. Because it is an ethical issue. We should not be baised in our formal work.

2. Because it is one of the most important charactaristics of the effective leader.

3. Because dealing with people in work will demoralize them, so, affect the quality of their performance.

4. To maintain a less quiting rate.

being fair is a core quality of a leader or manager. much more if it is for care and respect wherein manager has to gain from his/her colleagues in order work out the objectives as a team. Being fair and unfair is always an option if you are interacting with people. don't control it, but manage it for the good of the team and company as a whole.
