In the learning environment, where the role of a teacher or teachers is considered significantly, can be aligned in the five major functions of the school, such as (a) Curriculum Development, (b) Faculty / Staff Development, (c) Student Development, (d) Facilities Development, and (d) School-Community Relations, for the basic education, while in the tertiary or college level, the identified major functions are the following: (a) academe, (b) research, and (c) community extension. It means, the responsibilities of a teacher or teachers are classified and identified to be along with these five major functions of the school and 3 major functions in the tertiary level. Further, the teachers' responsibilities has something to do with curriculum development, faculty/staff development, student development, facilities development and SCR for the basic education and 3 main functions in the tertiary level. Innovations for each of functions are expected from the actors for attaining effective and efficient accomplishment of the tasks in the learning and educational environment.
