If with covering up you mean having the work done, than it is a yes.
If you mean if I would lie about his behaviour, than it is a no.
Team is indeed a team, if my colleague is lazy than he can count on it that I will kick his b..., and make him to move, a team is just as strong as its weakest team member, lets not forget that
I will pass the message in a suttle way. Positive reinforcement but yes hiding lazy team members is not encouraged.
The answer is not yes or no
There are two things that will happen
Namely:
According to the task required of my colleague, had a strong impact on the public interest
If that person is a person who is hurtful and abusive and does not deserve another chance
If he is otherwise, there is always another chance that I will try to advise and alert him before telling my managers
And this we will fix things with our hands
God is the knowledge
I will never cover a lazy colleague. Lasiness can be very bad for any team. I also know that there is a way for every lazy colleague to begin to work before being fired.
It depends on the situation and circumstances. It is a hypothetical question.
Yes. As we grow as team and in teams you always defend each others shortcomings.
Thanks to invite.
If colleague is hapitual to display the lazyness than I will never cover up at any forum and if he/she became lazy due to any incidence than will try to find out the fact and solution.
It depends on the colleague, if he or she has always been with the same attitude then I will not cover up since the Manager has all the right to know and may be the colleague will start taking the work seriously and bring the best out which would be good for him or herself.
And am sure all of us try and assist our colleagues and teams to get the given Job assiting them to do paricular tasks is something I never shy away from but covering up is against integrity.
Only if their laziness was hindering my working ability or environment then I would discuss it with the manager.
