Customer is always right because they are the only source of profits.. When an organization strategy is to generate profits and to retain vast base of clients, then "Customer comes first"..

Plus, the products and services are provided to fulfill customers needs. if they fail to meet the customers needs, then the product/service will be considered as low quality, and then the organization will go downhill.

however, unlike the old days, when the organizations used to make production based on customers needs, nowadays organizations are so powerful that they are able to create needs out of the nothing and instill those needs at a segment of prospects, and bring those prospects attention to this new creation, and convince them that it is a need to buy this new creation.

therefore, the "wrong" customer is the one who is not educated about a need, while the "righ" one is the one who is fully educated about the need (by marketing messages) and proceeds to buy them..

Definitely, customers are always right. If we think in some instances that the customer is somewhat wrong, you may explain in a polite way on how the customer will agree on the matters that you are trying to explain. And if the customer still does not convince, you have no choice but to follow where the wave goes, because at the end of the day we have to make all our customers satistfied with the products or services we are offering or promoting to them. Or else we will all end up with the sales tragedy instead of sales strategy.

The customer is not always right, but they are the customer. So if they are wrong, let them be wrong with dignity and respect.

The customer may not always be right, but the customer always has the money.
