Some of important steps to deal with strike would be :  understanding the reasons lead to strike, analyzing the whole situation, communicating with worker, and trying to reach a solution that would make both parties happy

Strike is a commom thing in corporate world now, it is a way of the workers registration their discomfort and or protecting their interest. Workers interest might not be only financial issues or monetary issues or benefits, it could be lack of career growth etc, but whatever it is, it is important for management to recognise and accept that strike is part of corporate work. Once management accept these things, solutions can be worked out.

First management should have face to face discussions and try to know their grevances and then assure them of amicable solutions. it is always important for management to respect their issues and work on it and meet time lines. In meeting them and meeting timelines even if management is delaying in solving, workers feel respected and become patient for it to be solved. 

Once these respect is shown, management will have time to resolve whatever grevances they had.

If the workers are giving the profit to the company and the company is in profit then you should go for workers demand. If possible try to fulfill all the required demands because a company will only earn the profit if the workers and fit and happy with their job. Workers are everything for the company.
