Why always auditor feel better when they get wrong? is auditor always fault finder?

auditor is always fault finder,so the m.d always trust with him, because they think that auditor should be check all details regarding the business transaction over one year. if there is any malpractices that are to be found on the responsibility of an auditor, then the m,d why should be think like they are wrong so the m.d always supporting him.thats why we can say that,auditor always feel better when the get wrong.
