BIM has increased efficiency and productivity, facilitated collaboration, documentation and information exchange. BIM Manager has critical role in the coordination between construction stakeholders. & to provide building related professionals with the knowledge and skills to implement and execute BIM on the scale of corporations and projects.

BIM is better than 3 dimensions of building  drawings ...with BIM  we can acheive the following goals;

1- In commercial building  as an example every inch will be utilized .there will be no space which is left un used because the owner of the building can see every corner of the building .

2- perfect and complete coordination between different services e,g. electricity , a/c , gaz , water and any other services

3- we can arrange kitchen items , bed room items , toilet items , roof spaces according to our needs ...in other words we can reach 100% utility of the building

4-with BIM we take full utility of sun rise , ventilation , winds to reach comfortable and economical cooling /heating system .

5- with approved BIM , civil engineer will be able to speed up delivery of paints , windows , doors , marble , tiles ....

6- With approved BIM electrical  and mechanical engineers will be able to order , supply  the required electrical and mechanical materials and equipment .

7-with BIM safety engineer will be aware of the unsafe locations of the buildings where he can  take proper precautions steps to avoide accidents

to breife what we mentioned above ...if we study the main constrains of any project and we take   commercial buildings as example ...the main constrains of any project are :1-time     2- cost      3- specifications ( quality and standard of materials used )  it is clear that when we say BIM helps in coordination between different services  this means time saving .....when we say approved BIM modeling will help engineers to  have enough time to order required materials this will help in saving both time and cost ...also when we say full utility of every inch of the building  this means more profits to the building owner ...this increases the earnings ...,when we say comfotable air cooling , heating and ventillation this will encourage for fast renting of flats which icreases the profits of the building ...similarly with the completion of project without accidents ...this means without losses  of lives or injuries this will increase the profit of execution ....so as it clearly shown ...cost , specifications and time are well controlled with BIM but one thing we have to be careful and we should be 100% aware ..THE SUPPLIER OF YOUR MATERIALS ...All efforts we have done will be lost if material delivery is late....this means delay in installation of major items ...this may lead to delay penalty ....BIM has helped alot to complete the project in time with low cost ...but  MATERIAL suppliers delayed the delivery ....will that be accepted excuse by the owner of thge building .?????...i do not think ....therefore the last i want to say ....BIM IS GOOD STEP FOR PROJECT COMPLETION AS IT SAVES TIME AND COST IF MATERIALS SUPPLIED ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS AND SCHEDULED TIME.  ....(.SORRY FOR MY LENGTHY ANSWER )
