D. confront the issue, even though one of them is hesitant,

if the issue wasn't solved, or temporarly neglected it could escalate later into a much stronger argument.... so it's better to fix it at once, and without taking it to the manager, so it won't hurt any of the two.

Answer: DExplanation: The best way to resolve any problem is to confront the issue - because "confronting" means figuring out the source of the problem and then resolving the root cause of the conflict. Any time you have an opportunity to confront the problem, you should do it. Remember, one of the most important things that a project manager does is make sure that team conflicts get resolved. Sometimes questions are worded so that the word "confronting" sounds negative. Even when it is, it's still the best approach to resolving conflicts!
