I believe it can be done by: - Having a good logistics person who is active, aware about what he is doing and organized.
- Make sure that your sales team is providing you with all their needs (requirments) in advance with enough time, in order to be well prepared '' on time '' and meet the expectations.
If you can secure above 2 points, including the good facilities and tools.
Then you can run a logistics services in a smooth way.

There are many options through which this can be achieved - Have a responsive system, which means, you forecast the demand and keep the products ready to ship out the moment the PO comes in -Use EDI or other IT tools to enable quick exchange of information between the sales team and logistics team -Sales and logistics team work in co-ordination so that the logistics team can expect the orders coming in and respond in a timely manner, reducing the lead time
